A Changed Life

The greatest single need in any person's life is to be loved. God offers us His love in the Person of His Son, Jesus Christ. It is a free offer that can be accepted or refused.

"For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16 NIV

When Jesus died on the cross at the Passover, He was the picture of the Passover lamb. In the story of Moses and the children of Israel in Egypt, whoever had the blood of the Passover lamb on the door of their house was spared when the Death Angel came. He was also the picture of the blood sacrifice (a legal payment) for sin, which separates us from God.

"But the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23 NIV

Anyone can believe and receive the sacrifice made by Jesus and become a child of God.

Yet to all who received Him, to those who believe in His name, He gave the right to become children of God—children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God." John 1:12,13 NIV

The result is A CHANGED LIFE.

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!" 2 Corinthians 5:17 NIV

The way to receive this new life is through prayer, or talking to God. You can ask Christ to be your Savior by praying the following prayer:

Lord, I am a sinner and I am sorry for my sin. With your help, I am willing to turn from my sin. I ask you to forgive me. I receive Jesus Christ as my Savior; and I confess Him as my Lord. From now on I want to follow Him in the fellowship of His Church. In Jesus' name. Amen.
